About La Maison Aroma Lamps

Its Simple:
Fill the lamp, light the burner, and blow off the flame after 2 minutes maximum.

 Powerful:
Much more efficient than a scented candle to perfume your house. Especially efficient to destroy kitchen or tobacco smells. The perfume lamp can remove any odor in your home. The burner is suited to be lit numerous times. It is advisable to change the burner every year for best results.

Economical:
Less than an hour is usually enough to perfume a whole house. So a 8.5 fl .oz. bottle should last one month of average use.

Safe:
If the perfume lamp overturns, there is no need to worry about spills. The flame automatically extinguishes. It is safe around children and animals.

Aroma Lamps purify the air by destroying odors and air borne bacteria. They increase oxygen levels in the air. The fuels contain essential oils that are made from natural botanical extracts. These oils perfume the air and provide aroma therapy, as well as having insect repelling properties.

What are Aroma Lamps? and how do they work?
La Maison and Nicolai are decorative fragrance lamps that destroy odors and bacteria in the air while increasing oxygen levels and perfuming your environment. They all use a catalytic burner that reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit to combust a special alcohol based liquid fuel. The burning fuel releases molecules into the air that capture and destroy odors while dispersing essential oils.

The Aroma lamp works after the flame is extinguished. The flame is to heat the stone and needs to be blown out after 1-2 minutes.

The burner should last at least two years or approximately 250 lightings.

You can change fragrances by letting the wick dry on a paper towel. It is okay to go from fragrance to fragrance without drying the wick, the fragrance will blend until the fuel in the wick is used.

How it works

Don't just cover up odors in your home, eliminate them! You can remove all types of household odors with our Decorative Aroma Lamps. Destroys odors in the air before perfuming it. Instead of a flame, our perfume lamps use a form of catalytic combustion to move large volumes of air through the lamp's heat chamber. When lit, heat rises rapidly from the lamp's catalytic filter.


The heat mixes with cooler air, creates a continuous flow of air through the combustion chamber, a process known as catalytic conversion.

Airborne molecules that cause odors are filtered through the lamp and converted into oxygen.

While this is happening, the lamp emits a light and delightful fragrance. An entire room or house is deodorized and scented in just a few minutes, and the fragrance lasts for hours.
La Maison Aroma Lamps are made of very fine glass, porcelain, metal and earthenware. They are collector's items and have been known to appreciate in value. With the many designs and colors, you are sure to find one that will complement your home or office.

The La Maison and Nicolai oils come in a variety of floral, fruit, spice, confection and exotic scents. These oils are alcohol based, therefore Large petroleum based lamp fuels cannot be used. Each lamp comes in a gift box with a sample bottle of fuel, but you will want to choose your favorite scent also.

25 to 40 minutes of use is sufficient for a 1000 to 1400 cubic foot room.





Instructions for Your Lamp:
  • Take of the burner and its wick. Fill your lamp at 2/3 maximum of your lamp
    (only use La Maison refills for perfume lamps). Replace the burner. Let it soak 30 minutes.
  • Light your burner. Never let the flame unattended.
  • Blow off the flame after 2 minutes maximum. (Lamp with perforated stopper: place back the perforated stopper.)
  • To stop the lamp, place back the plain stopper.
